Ecología y Población Workshops

Ecology Action’s primary Latin American partner organization, Ecología y Población (ECOPOL, biointensivistas.ning.com), has continued a full schedule of GROW BIOINTENSIVE (GB) activities in many countries across Latin America and in Europe. In the first 9 months of 2017, 639 people were taught by ECOPOL directly: 429 at five states of Mexico, 73 at two sites in Peru, 160 in Haiti, 35 in Spain, and 102 at two sites in Italy.

ECOPOL has given workshops in the Mexican states of Aguascalientes, Guanajuato, Mexico, and Baja California Sur, as well as in Guatemala, Nicaragua, Spain and Portugal. At their demonstration / training garden El Mezquite in Aguascalientes state, the team is conducting a soil sustainability research project.
