Garden Warrior Alumna Joins the Dream of Wild Health team

In 2019 Dream of Wild Health hired their first Garden Warrior alumna, Faith Gronda, to the Dream of Wild Health team as a seed intern. Faith had participated in the Garden Warriors and Youth Leaders programs at Dream of Wild Health for several years before applying to be an employee at Dream of Wild Health to help teach the younger generations of youth at the farm during the 2019 summer. Her teaching and mentorship allowed youth in the Garden Warriors and Cora’s Kids programs during the summer of 2019 to see a clear guide and pathway for themselves as leaders at Dream of Wild Health that extended beyond their time in our summer programs. Additionally, Faith’s role on the Seed Team at the farm also helped fill a crucial need of summer lessons around seed stewardship for our youth programs, which was cited as an area for growth in previous end of session surveys conducted amongst our summer programs youth and Youth Leaders in 2018.
